SMART SENSOR Sound Level Meter (AS824) measures sound pressure level and is commonly used in noise pollution studies for the quantification of almost any noise, but especially for industrial, environmental and aircraft noise. Sound Level Meter is an instrument that is designed to measure sound levels in a standardized way. It responds to sound in approximately the same way as the human ear and gives objective, reproducible measurements of sound pressure levels. Sound Level Meters are used to measure and manage noise from a variety of sources, including industrial plants, road and rail traffic, and construction work. Sound Level Meter comprises a microphone, a preamplifier, signal processing, and a display.
